Squirrel Nut Zippers Ghost of Stephen Foster
A satirical take on Stephen Foster(Father of American Music) singer composer who wrote songs about the south, Camptown Races, Oh Susana,Beautiful Dreamer, and failed to depict the hardships of blacks in the south. He was troubled by alcoholism, his wife took children & left him. He was ill, fell hit his head slashed his face over a wash basin and died in North American Hotel in New York on 1-13-1864 at 37 yrs old.
