What are the best seeds to grow cannabis?

I want to grow some nice weed

That depends on what you mean by "best". For "cultivation with intent to distribute" you need specialty seeds that cost $200 a dozen.
If it’s just for you, get some PK/ KB/ whatever you call good bud with seeds, and use those. The best from those are the large brown ones with black stripes.

Sunflowers can you grow for bird food? What is the best seeds for this?

Hard to say: AK-47 (Serious) Colombian X Mexican X Thai X Afghani

I don’t and haven’t smoked weed in over 20 years. I’ve heard this is a good strain but never tried.

There are no best ones. A lot of that depends on the climate you’re growing them in. Certain strains grow better under certain conditions. It also depends on what you want out of it. Do you want it to smell a certain way? Look a certain way? Are you trying to obtain certain characteristics from it?

Your best bet is to first figure out what your climate is (avg. temperature, humidity, air pressure, etc.) then determine which plants would be best for you. Also consider the growing conditions, such as if you’re using a certain type of lamp bulb, soil, nutrients, O3 generators, etc.

"Best" is a matter of opinion. What kind of smoke do you like? Your first choice is between indica/indica dominant and sativa/sativa dominant. Indicas tend to be more relaxing and calming, while sativas tend to have a more cerebral and up high. Next to consider is where you are growing. Indoors or out? There are strains that are better for each. If indoors, things to consider are mature height, amount of light you can provide and odor. Outdoors your climate becomes a major factor.

Many marijuana forums online have strain reviews posted by growers. You can get a better idea by reading those than asking here!
