how do i grow the best tomatoes?
Posted on Sep 16, 2009 under Best Tomatoes | 2 CommentsI am currently growing money makers, i have made a greenhouse out of clear plastic sheeting and they have grown to about 2 foot. Do i have to do anything to make them nice and tasty, or feed them with special food or anything, also can you recomend another easy to grow vegetable.
the type of tomato is a personal choice, take seeds from the biggest and best and tastiest tomatoe for the next plant, and keep some back up seeds,,dry and freeze your seeds,,,my neighbor raises rabbits and has the best fertilizer in the world!! his plants are huge and they can plenty of tomatoes for 5 families!! thats out of 8 plants!!also a little epson salts will help with any blossum end rot you may experience..don’t forget to nip the suckers between the larger stems,, these are just little looking branches that do nothing but take up plant foor..miracle grow is very good also,, check plant catalogs for other supplements,, gurneys, henry fields etc,, just use your search engine for seed catalogs!!!
