what are the best tomatoes in a can to use for spicy chili?

there are so many different kinds: stewed, petite diced, sauce, etc. which one’s are the best for chili? thanks !

I love Muir Glen organics….
But hunts petite diced are real good too….

I just asked the question about "what are your favorite canned tomatoes" yesterday for the same reason. Its Chili time of year

    I use san marzano whole peeled tomatoes in mine. They break up a little when the chili is cooking but leave some nice tomato chunks too. Also dont forget to add tomato sauce as well!.. Yum i want some chili now!

    hunts petite diced in tomato juice are the best!! they don’t fall apart and have great flavor.

    you can use store brand ones too-just make sure they are in tomato juice…

    I use Rotel brand, they mix in chilies and stuff and they add a kick of spice!
